The University Counsellor’s role is to educate students and parents about the opportunities studying in different countries and universities, the college admissions process, application procedures, and various test that might be required by universities. Special School based software helps students and parents gather information about university programs and procedures in different countries. The counsellor meets with all the 10th and 11th graders, individually and in groups, talks about admission terms and conditions and individual college choices, writes an official school recommendation for each senior student, prepares transcripts and other necessary documentations.
The College Counsellor also advises the 8th and 9th graders explore career possibilities and what courses they will need for different career choices. Parents and students are also informed about relevant summer camps, language courses and various types of international courses.
The counsellor meets with all university admissions representatives who visit the EAS campus and facilitates direct meeting between college representatives and EAS students, and builds up relationship with various universities and school by attending regional and international fairs, conferences.
