Dear teachers and educators,

The mission of the European Azerbaijan School is to provide each student a diverse and vibrant education in a compassionate and supportive environment which promotes respect, innovation, creativity, intercultural understanding and critical thinking. This enables students to become reflective and respectful international citizens who, as empowered lifelong learners, can flourish globally and contribute fully and meaningfully to their community and create a more peaceful and inclusive society. 

If you are an enthusiastic teacher, an education specialist who has willingness to help to grow such individuals and have appropriate training and professional competencies to work at a school distinguished by its advantages, and looking for new experiences, please provide EAS with the following documents: 

  • Letter of application explaining the reason of the intention to work as a teacher at the EAS and how you can contribute to the school. This gives you an opportunity to tell us about yourself, trainings participated and your work experience.

  • CV/Resume with contact information of two (w) referees. You may provide up to two (2) letters of recommendation as part of your application.

Interview:

Once we have received applications we select suitable candidates for an interview. The interview can be via Skype or face to face, either at the EAS campus or an upcoming recruitment fair. Our interviews for teaching positions reflect our approaches covering all aspects of the candidate’s teaching and learning process and commitments.

While each interview is different, the key questions will be more about success of your teaching career, the benefits of your professional experience and your approach to teaching, learning,  and assessing student performance will be deeply explored.

We encourage you to prove your approaches in the above areas with specific examples, as well as provide evidence of the positive impact of your teaching performance on the development of your students.

- Chemistry teacher (Secondary Campus) 

As the EAS is experiencing significant growth, the school is seeking qualified, trained, experienced and motivated teachers with C1 English Language level to join their team. The school implements innovative learning and teaching programmes aimed at developing and promoting personal growth and individual excellence.

CVs without cover letters will not be considered. In the subject line of your e-mail message, please mention the title of the position you are applying for.

No information inquiries will be handled over the phone, and only short-listed candidates will be notified for the interview.

CVs should include the following information:

  • Applicant’s full name
  • Date of birth
  • All detailed information about education
  • All detailed information about work experience
  • Names and contact details of 3 professional referees

Shortlisted candidates will be tested for their subject knowledge and competency. Candidates will be asked to present a demonstration lesson to show their abilities in teaching/learning methods. A rigorous background check would be done for the successful candidate in line with our school policies and requirements.

About the European Azerbaijan School 

The European Azerbaijan School (EAS) started in September 2011 with about 95 students. Currently there are more than 900 students studying at the School. Highly qualified local and foreign teachers possessing professional competencies are working at EAS.
